I've been using one just like that, only different, for years. When I pulled the engine last month, one arm fell off, so I guess it was working...

I have one that is a solid metal strap with "crows feet" that hook over the frame. Each end has a single threaded rod that passes through the hook with a nut on the top and bottom. Anybody know what brand it may be?
