I have this distributor on my T, it runs great. My grandpa put it on the T before 1942. I would like to find another set of gears just as a spare. Thanks for the post Jay

James, I believe the gears can be had through several of the Model T parts vendors.

Thanks Jay, I looked at my Langs catolog after you wrote that and found the repro gears.

I would like to find some points for one of those. Anyone got a source?

Is this the unit that takes the old VW Beetle cap & points? (not sure about the rotor).

James, We manufacture the gears. There are no other new parts available.

Thanks Glen, sure would be nice if someone made a replacement plate to replace the old one with points and condenser. New plate to use some common set of points and condenser. I bought one for a 29 Packard that replaced the old hard to find dual point plate with a 60s mopar 6 cyl point set and cond. Works great and was not expensive. I like the original B dist., the ones like that one shown that have built in centrif. advance. They run very well as long as the points hold up.

Those are AWFUL distributor conversions... I'll be happy to take it off your hands!! ;)

Seriously, dad's '15 roadster had this conversion on it, and behind a 12v battery/coil, that car ran like a scalded cat. Guard it well, especially the cap and rotor - those are like gold for those to keep them going!

Anyone done the Pertronix electronic ignition on this? I've read posts explaining how to do it, but have never heard the results from someone that has actually done it.
