Would like to have that video playing on a laptop while not connected to the internet. Can U-Tube videos be stored on a computer and played at will? Also, is it legal? No profit to be made, just to educate the public.
Thanks

what you can do is load the video on your computer when it is connected to the internet. Then watch the video completely -as normal-. Then you can minimize it and put your computer to sleep. Then when you arrive at your site w/o internet, just wake up your laptop and you can watch it over and over. You have to have a different window for each video. Make sure that you dont close the window, hit refresh or leave the webpage that your video is on. You can download them to your computer (I think) but it is Illegal. Also make sure your computer has a good battery or make sure it can be plugged in. If your computer battery dies or shuts down you will loose the videos.

I use a paid program "Video Grabber".
RealPlayer has a built in video saver or you can get something like that >>> http://www.bestvideodownloader.com/

My daughter and her fellow students created the video of the Model T engine and you are free to use it.

I'm impressed. :-)
That's got to be the first thing I've seen come out of UC Bezerkeley in decades that didn't have a 'Peace Sign' attached to it.

That video is great, all we need now is someone to do the transmission in the same way. Then those of us who agree with E.B.White in 'Farewell my Lovely' will cease to believe its operation is 'half metaphysics, half sheer fiction' :^)

Jem, I agree. A trans video would be awesome. Great video. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

If you have Real Player making a copy from Youtube is easy-
When watching the Youtube video just press the download button near the top of the screen and it will be saved in you real player directory.

My 11 year old grandaughter showed me how to do this! :-)
She does it with Adel sound tracks so she can sing with them

For a good animation of the tranny, go here...scroll down a bit...then click on levers and pedals...and then watch what happens to the individual gears

Chris site was close to a budget cut here a while back...glad to see it is still up
