I was looking at replacing all the glass in my 24 fordor. The Mac's website asked if i wanted glass for a '24 or '25. I am not sure of the year, my engine number dates it as a '24 is there a difference in the body glass between the years? and how can i identify what year the body may be?
John, Here's a link to the Model T windshield and closed body glass 14 page booklet I have posted on my photobucket site.

Just take your old glass to an automotive glass shop and they can cut you safety glass using the old ones as a pattern.
Since your going to have to take your glass out to replace it take to a reputable glass shop and have them cut and install it in the window channels on the bottom of the door glass.
Same goes for the winshield glass.
The shop that did my 24 Coupe glass did a good job on mine.
While they are doing the glass you could be checking and replacing the window channel and rubber.
I had a local glass shop do my 24 Fordor in tinted safety glass, i had all but one door window but it was the reverse of the other side.
$308.00 including our 10% sales tax. I took the channel that the glass sits in on the bottom, they removed the plate glass for patterns while i cleaned and painted the parts they reinstalled the new glass with a bedding of some kind.

From what I can see by looking at the glass specs, and looking at the parts list, there is no difference in the glass between the 1923 and 1925 Fordor. The windshield is different between the 23-25 and 26-27, but that's about it.
Basically, if you have wood framed doors you have a 24. If you have all steel doors, you have a 25. The model year changed in August of 1924.

Thanks for all the info. Will take a trip down to the glass shop.
