Here are some photos of my newly restored 1912 MIL roadster. This has been a 14 month project from a car that was complete and correct mechanically but needed extensive body work done.
I gleaned much information from the MTFA forum and only have praise for the information and people who support it. The colour is 1985 Mercedes Benz Dark Blue.
I have driven the car all of 5 miles and so far it is a delight

What a pretty car! Congratulations on getting your T back on the road!
Very nice, a 200k trip to gippsland would be a nice run in trip, then of course you would need to leave it in my shed, well that would go for any of the nice cars in your photo.
Great job on the body! I am sure it will be a crowd-pleaser in shows and parades. The color is great too.
Great job Ian! I hope I get to see it on a rally at Shepperton or the Barossa Valley later in the year.
Wow! As we say here in the States, "Now, THAT'S what I'am talkin' about!"
Very nice. The brass creates a nice contrast with the blue. Great job!
Wonderful. Your car looks great. Now time to enjoy!
Hi Ian, Very Very impressive for sure I'm a little GREEN with envy. I would love to actually see it in person and maybe go for a little ride too!!! Joe
Absolutely beautiful! And an inspiration because I will be picking up a 1912 Touring next week to restore.
Really a beauty! Wonderful work...that is a very nice runabout...if only the steering was on the correct side
I would have it!
Outstanding job !!!!
That '12 really does look nice. We don't have a '12 but have just finished our '13 roadster/pickup. The color on the car really should be dark blue like the '12, however my Texas Aggie upbringing caused me to paint it maroon. Drove it to town this morning for gas. Sure does run better when it has gas in the tank.
Beautiful car! (Fourteen months? Most impressive.) I also like the Buick and Cadillac. What year/models are they? ('08 F, '10 30? I'm guessing here.)
John M, I like that photo.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Congratulations Ian.
This model T is beautiful .... I would very much like mine is so beautiful when it is finished.
This is really beautiful job, you can be proud.

Ian-
She's a beauty!
I like the way that the mother-in-law gets the top in her face, or is isolated from the front passengers with the top up.
It looks like you did your homework before pinstriping. Did you do a stripe across the bottom of the hood near the latches, or just along the hinge, front, and back?
I'd love to see some more detail pics.
: ^ )

Thank you all for the remarks about my T model. I find this forum quite amazing and incredibly useful in the restoration and troubleshooting of problems for an amateur restorer like me!
Much (well most really) of the work was out-sourced on the car as I do not have the skills nor the time at this point to do it myself
To answer to some of the questions;
The paint colour I specified was a 1985 Mercedes Benz colour DB 904, however due to availability I used a Sikkens brand in a Midnight Blue which is reputedly the same.
The pin-striping was modelled on original photos of 1912 MIL's and I did manage to measure the exact locations from an original car also. Attached is an original photo which was a guide. Note there is striping on the upper body only, and the hood striping is quite simple and does not frame every panel in the hood.
I attempted to be as correct in the restoration as possible even to the horse hair stuffing
The other cars I have that you can just see in one of the photos are a 1910 Model F Buick, a 1910 Cadillac Model 30 (well picked Wayne!). I also have a 1907 Cadillac Model M - see photo
John I think your pick-up too is great - they sure are good cars to drive
Best regards to all and I may even see some of you at Bakersfield.
Ian Berg, Melbourne

Very nice Ian. Now you have the T I guess you have no use for the Caddy. Best ship it across the ditch so I can store it for you. The blue looks good too. Do you have more pics showing the blue?
Beautiful 1907 Cadillac! You have a fine collection.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Gorgeous car... Beautiful job...
Great looking Model T!!!!!! Glad to hear that the 1985 Mercedes DB-904 worked out for you. All of your cars look great!

Great to hear from you, Darin H! Getting any work done on your grandfather's T?
Such a beautiful car. Ian you chose everything perfect. I love the way the brass accents the blue (or is it the other way around)? Though I love both my T's I'd love to have a brass T too. Maybe in 4 or 5 years if my health holds up. Once again, a truly great looking car Ian.
Do you realize you have the steering wheel on the wrong side? Just sayin...
