Looking at a car tomarrow On a scale 1-5 it looks to be a three. Running - maintained some small cosmetic issues. What say you?
Thanks in advance - Dennis
Dennis, since you are in Salinas CA, have this one in mind?

Yes sir - indeed I do. Need lotsw of good karma right now!
Dennis:
Buy it and worry about the value later
I'm going to give it my best shot. Even the wife is going with me - Please send good vibes! -Dennis
As I mentioned in the other thread, if I had the space and time for another car I'd be on my way to Salinas right now. Unless there are major unseen defects, that car at that price is a fantastic deal. This 1915 touring was advertised as a 1914 and sold at auction for $14,000. It ran, but wasn't anywhere near as good as the Salinas car appears to be.

If it helps you get there any sooner Dennis, I'm going to offer the guy $6000 and leave tonight from Oregon...grin...
If I had the money to do it, I would have done last night what Danial - V O is joking about tonight. I would have been there before sunup this past morning.
Good luck! Dennis, I would be sure it is legitimate before turning loose of any cash, but legitimate deals like that do happen. I have picked up a few really good deals myself (thank you Dan, Jay) (no last initials used to protect the innocent). But never something quite that good. Good luck, be careful, and let us know what happens.
(I would have put a smiley face next to my "innocent" crack, but I don't know how.)
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Ha! Great minds run in the same rut, Wayne...grin..
Onwer says he has pink slip in hand. I know the area well nice neighborhood one block from downtown. Will update you as it evolves.. Good Karma wishes appreciated! - Dennis
Dennis,
If it wasn't for the 3 day drive one way, I would have bought that 14 by now myself! Hope your not to late and post some more pictures of it for us to drool over.
Bob
Dennis,
I posted the Craig's ad.

Larry
