Unless there are major unseen defects, that car at that price is a fantastic deal. This 1915 touring was advertised as a 1914 and sold at auction for $14,000. It ran, but wasn't anywhere near as good as the Salinas car appears to be.

Good luck! Dennis, I would be sure it is legitimate before turning loose of any cash, but legitimate deals like that do happen. I have picked up a few really good deals myself (thank you Dan, Jay) (no last initials used to protect the innocent). But never something quite that good.
