I didn't think I'd meet up with a participatory spectator this early in the year. Yesterday, I bought a bottle of fuel stabilizer and drove "Penelope" to the gas station for her winterizing fill-up of 87-octane. While there, as occasionally happens, somebody was daring enough to step up and accept, from the self-evident eccentric, a ride in his century-old car. I just love it when better judgement is eclipsed by pure, unbounded enthusiasm! Unfortunately, I had forgotten to stash the usual cache of straw and derby hats in the wicker basket, so dignity remained intact.

Looking forward to your continuing posts. Thank you!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Ha! Great fun, Bob! Earlier this last fall, I let a mom put her 9 year old son in my Coupe for a photo op when I was pulled up to a convenience store.
Made a fun memory for mom and young man alike.
You're a great ambassador for the cause Bob, keep it up.
I don't even have beautiful women walk up to my Model T when I'm not around. And I know no one that good lookin will ever come near it when I am around. But the kids and the dogs love me. I give rides around here to the kids and the dogs all the time. The only ones that know my name are two old veterans from past wars and the kids. Maybe I'm going to have to stop stealing everyone's Social Security and welfare checks.
