You can grind the markings off modern bolts and cap screws, and you can drill holes for cotter pins, but making the heads taller is rather impractical. Maybe somebody here can save me a long session of Google scrounging. Anyone know a source for the original style?

What and how many do you need?

Doug, I don't know. I'm a few short in various places, in different sizes. The question is more general than specific. It would be nice to have a ready supply of the right bolts in several sizes when you're working on a car and find the occasional wrong thing on it.

The reproduction bolt kits for Model T are underwhelming in terms of authentic looks or even the right lengths. Wish someone would make a decent set of engine bolts, I am almost out of good original ones.
