Took my 26T pickup out for a ride this weekend, all was fine until it started missing and backfiring. I quickly switched from mag to battery (12v) It ran a little better but not as perfect as it normally would. I made it home, barely. I hadn't cleaned the timer in quit some time, so I stared there in my trouble shooting. Attached are a few picture of what I found after cleaning the timer. Looks like the roller cut a grove in the timer?? Is this normal? Could this be the source of my miss firing?? I've ordered a new Anderson Timer & Roller...What's your thoughts??

Yes, the roller is worn beyond repair, and the timer may be repaired on a lathe.
While you're there,order a spare belt too.
The wheel on the roller is real wobbly..I'll just need to wait for the new Timer & Roller to arrive.
I'm sure that will put the T back on the road again!
