I bought a 1912 partially restored 1912 touring. Not a bitsa car like the 14 I just sold. I hope you don't mind, but I have a lot of questions. It has the front door and dummy door. Just sharing some pictures.

I like it !!
Nice! 1912 is perhaps the year of the Model T that had the most changes. Several body styles, constantly evolving details. From the pictures it appears you have most of the right stuff Robert.
Looks like there is a front bearing seal missing.
Nice looking car, and it looks like it has lots of potential! I'm sure that she'll keep you occupied for quite a while!
Mine looked like yours when I got it in 1982 Mine has the rear door handles on the inside of the door Have a lot of fun restoring it. Lee
Truly a thing of beauty!
Congratulations!
Robert,
Very nice ...
Thanks for posting !
Jim
I suppose it's a long way off Robert but I was wondering if that upholstery is salvageable? Nice car. You have a lot of "main" (read expensive) parts. Any ideas on the engines condition? I'm assuming that boat anchor of a trans is a spare.
I hope you got the doors with it. If not, they seem to be around. Nice project.
Congratulations! If I could have any Model T Ford I wanted, I'd pick a 1912 Touring. Love that diamond-tufted upholstery, open front seating, those long windshield braces and more brass than a Pentagon luncheon!
Congratulations robert.
This 1912 is very beautiful.
The seats appear to be in good condition, is that you will keep the cook in this state?
Olivier (france)
Thanks guys! I have the doors -dummy and real, they came with the car. They are in very good condition. After vacation (to the Caribbean) I will take the engine and trans to a guy in our club to inspect and rebuild. The engine was rebuilt about ten years ago, but I do not know what it is like on the inside. So it needs an inspection.
What a FIND!!!!
Beautiful. I'm partial to 1912's too. Good luck with the restoration.
Bob-
Very nice.
Do you know the body maker? Can you find a body number?
I'm glad you have the doors for it!
: ^ )

Bob, who sold you that thing. There's no way you should have to lay awake night after night dealing on such a car. Why don't you go ahead and send it up to me here in Rice MN and I'll take the necessary steps to deal with it accordingly. I hope you understand that because I'm doing you a favor, it'll be up to you to pay for the shipping and you'll have to pay me a small representative fee. :-)
That is one sweet deal. Congratulations.
Very Nice!! Congrats and good luck....Chip.
Thanks for all the kind words. I am going on a Caribbean cruise tomorrow which I absolutely love! But I'm bring my T magazine and vender book to look at! Can't wait to get home and work on her.
There is a body number on the front seat and a body number on the rear seat???? I will report after the trip. Bob
