The cam's front and middle bearing are 1.438" od, the rear runs in the 1" bore of the block. I needed to make the boring jig to open the Ford bores for fit. Also the block bores need to be notch for the cam lobes to pass. Lots of work. This how I skinned the cat anyhow. Thought some of you may be interested.
How are you planning to control cam end thrust. I assume off the front cover

OK so now I am curious as to what you are using for the distributor for the dual plug.
I had contemplated using a e-timer and firing off both ends of the high tension winding of the coil.
