Very interesting! Cars that float and boat that don't!
The little two seater with a man and woman setting in, may be an Auto Redbug. Some had electric moteors, and some were powereed by a Briggs andStratton hanging off the back.

Ok so what the heck is the three wheeler with the circular door! that thing is sweet!
also any more info on the one that slightly resembles a messershmidt fighter?
The streetcar is a Blackpool England open tram or "Boat Car". San Francisco runs one as part of the historic F Line.

The little car with the lady driver (JCK 232) is a second generation Bond Minicar. It had a 197cc Villiers two stroke engine which would turn 180 degrees. My Dad's did not have a reverse gear so he could drive it on a motorcycle license. One time my Dad, Mum and my brother were in the front and I was in the back and we went about 50 miles...
It was a chain drive and the main chainwheel kept coming loose until a local blacksmith hot rivited the thing onto the wheel.
Is that Queen Mary in the Citreon? Wife of King George V... I wonder what the event was?
Alex,
That is who I thought it was when I first saw the picture.
Regards, John
In that prop-driven ice boat the wind chill must be a killer.
I thought the same thing about it being Queen Mary.
