I find myself in Los Angeles. There is a farmers market, mostly places to eat, that has an old Gilmore gas station. Here are some photos. Do you recognize some of the tools? How about the other stuff? How about the gas prices?
Boy I like those oil dispensers, and the roll top desk!
I believe that station is at the Farmers Market, at 3rd & Fairfax in Los Angeles.
Does any relationship between Gilmore Gasoline and the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners Michigan exist? I always thought the Shell station at the museum should have been a Gilmore Station.
We stopped at a Gilmore Station on the 2014 National Tour held at Barona California by the San Diego Model T Club. See picture attached.
Did you use a time machine?
I don't know whether the station had been moved. I don't know it's history, but it is on privately owned property along Wild Cat Canyon Road which road is access to Barona Indian Reservation from Lakeside. It is a little way off the road, but you can see the guard rail in the background.
