The search engine doesn't seem to be working for me tonight so does anyone have any good close-up pictures of the wood behind the rear door? Hopefully my pictures will show up.
Either Cubels made the wood too thick or it;s supposed to stick out. Is there any purpose to these pieces other than something to tack the upholstery to? Any picture,with or without upholstery would be much appreciated.

I did find some that Dan Treace has posted but nothing that really details the area I'm concerned with. Any and all help welcome.

Just trying to figure out how the pieces in the links above are supposed to fit, whether they fit flush with the metal or stick out some. There's no way they're going to fit the way they came. Need any pictures I can get of the 26/27 touring wood installed in a car. Thanks.

I think there were some running changes during production of the improved tourings from august 1925 to may 1927. The expensive wood kit is general and you may have to adjust some parts - and on a '27 you can likely leave some parts off the car if you like. Usually the 27's has crimped and rolled edges on the body where the side panels fits - no need to tack them to the wood. Can't tell you much about the part behind the rear door since my touring body remains is in such a bad condition - no wood is left

Thanks, Roger, yes, Ive seen those and they're probably the best pictures out there. Since I have the wood I figures I'd use it but wondered if it really served another purpose. Guess it must have or Henry wouldn't have wasted the time&money.
