Here is the story:
I am interested in your Model T you have for sale.
It goes on and ask condition and price.
So my reply was where are you and what about shipping. I told him it was show room new and the price was $500,000,000.00+interest and shipping.
His email said he is happy about the condition. He said "AM okay on last price. He would like to make payment my cash but he has to buy something on the internet and would them pay by certified check. When check clears he would have his "Transporter view it and text him.
His words are "Kindly let know the best available day you would like my transporter agent come for view and text.
His signature on the emails is and was
Dr. Steven Pia and he also signed it just as Steven Pia.
He wanted it to transported to "my New Apartment in Alabama.
Now this kinda has the smell of a scam,as they say if it looks like a skunk, and it smell like a skunk, it has to be a skunk.
So watch out for "Dr.Steven Pia, aka Steven Pia
email address is: stevenpia01@gmail.com
Golly Bill, that's a pretty good price....
Oh I don't know Henry, he did say it is,"Show room new"!
I'm sure five hundred million would be the most ever paid for any car.
Steven must have one heck of a medical practice.
Not to start a bidding war, but I'd sell one of mine for $400,000,000.00
Have one in good shape, new tires, new steering wheel, new dash, oil dip stick, new radiator, etc, etc, etc and is NOT FOR SALE at any price, well maybe $399.999.999.99 and 1/2. I might have to leave home but at least I would have the funds to live in this country for at least a week. Ha!!!!!
I'm waiting for the first post warning Bill in all seriousness that the deal may not be legit.
Warning, the deal may not be legit.
I think it looks like a good deal, and maybe it would be best to seen a bank account number so the money can be direct deposited. But just to show that you are on the up and up, send you driver's license, passport and a signed blank check too.
Best
Gus
O.K. guys who want to make the first bid? I think maybe Steve in Kansas needs another "T?, seeing that he is a "T" man and even though he blows out tires that end up in a wheat field.
Will keep you all posted about the "Check or Cash" and how good the money is.
I'll bid if I can make monthly payments. :-)
I'll gladly pay the full $500,000,000 as long as you'll accept $1 down payment and $1 per month until it's paid off. Of course, when I pass on I imagine my family will just let you have the car back.
Hi Bill
Greetings beloved one.
Do you have another one for sale at that price. I am really interested. Could you ship it to the North Pole where I live.
Damn it Bill, I was going to give you an even Billion for it. Think about it, that would have been double your price. But then I really would want that thing delivered to a specially built shop I'd expect you to build.
Mark: I hate to throw cold water on you but the "ADVERT" only had one at this price. You have read that kind of ad before.
This if I could have posted all the emails 4 or 5 would cause you and everyone else to chuckle.
And as the guy said And the price and condition is great, "New off the show room floor.
Bill D
Ran when parked.
Yup sure did Steve and could drive it up and down the street.
Oh but I did not blow out the tires and lose one them in the wheat field!!he he
