This was released on Edison Blue Amberol cylinder no.2556, as well as on Victor.Huge song in it's day.

Billy Murray is one of my favorites. Good stuff.

So archaic. Love it. I have a postwar (1946) Firestone console with a 78 player in it. Time to break that out of the shop again and play my old 78s.

One thing I am curious about - he mentions a limousine. I had no idea there was a car class for that back in1915.

You can find the sheet music easily on eBay - it was a big hit so there are lots of copies still out there. It's for piano,so a guitarist is going to have to work out the chords.

The rare one is It's a Rambling Flivver which I haven't been able to get hold of, either sheet music or record.

It should not be difficult to find a copy of this, either on cylinder,diamond disc,or 78. This record was extremely popular in the day. Ebay should be the easiest place to wrangle up a copy.
"Henry's Made A lady Out Of Lizzie" is a little tougher to find on cylinder. It's in the "5000 series" of Edison blue amberol records which are collectible on their own.

Thanks John. It is Victor, not Columbia. I even have it, ain't old age fun.

I recently acquired a copy of "Since Henry Ford Apologized to Me" on the dime store Perfect Label (Jones and Hare performing like the Victor label version). The circled "E" indicates is is an electric recording. I believe was recorded in 1927.

Another recent acquisition is "Ann and Her Little Sedan."

I also have various versions of Henry's Made a Lady Out of Lizzie (the Harry Reser/Cliquot Club Eskimos version on Columbia is probably the most common one found) and a some records by the Henry Ford Old Time Orchestra.

I'm a casual collector of 78 rpm records and I attend a lot of estate sales. My problem is I collect them faster than I listen to them. I have about 300 records waiting to be cleaned before I listen to them.

My dad collects automobile sheet music.
