Can you post some pictures?? I love towncars! My model T Times takes ages to get to me.

This is my Town Car which took nearly ten years to build from virtual wreck bought in 1994. It now sits almost unused in the barn while I play with the red 1914 Touring

I like the 1913 style:

The lower right picture in the above post is one I snapped of Jim Finney (R) and Scott Rosenthal (L) with Jim's mostly original 1912 town car in the background. And Jim's mostly original 1914 town car in the foreground!

Scott mentions Bill Simpson and he reworking the body on Scott's car. The amount of work in the body was astounding. Virtually every part of the wooden body had to be remade to match the dimensions and contours of the original. I suspect near two thousand hours of wood working by the two men. Scott also made a number of complex brass castings to properly replicate things like the rear window frame, the landau bars, and the cowl lamp brackets. To say the least this was a work of intense dedication and pride.

Yes Hap, the touring is a little bit classier than the old roadster pickup, so they needed something a little more upscale than the bibs.

Wow,beautiful car. I received my copy of Model T Times a couple of days ago--nice article and pictures---a lot of wonderful history of what manufactures focused on to sell cars at that time period. Hard to believe it is a Model T---

I have just received a copy of this particular issue of the "Model 'T' Times". I had never seen the MTFCI magazine before and was very impressed. The 1912 towncar is truly magnificent. The muffler article was superb.

Many thanks again all, for these good words. Can't wait to get the car out and drive here in Cincinnati...waiting on some dry weather between the rain and snow. Cool weather doesn't bother the old girl at all, in fact she appears to favor the cooler temps.
