Eldon Wormley, former deaf member of the Model T Club and Horseless Carriage Club collected and restored cars for parades, hill climbs, tours and Sunday afternoon rides with his family. He & his deaf wife, Bernice, are pictured in costume on the Horseless Carriage Club emblem in their 1902 Oldsmobile when he won an award. He was recognized by Ford, Inc. as the only person who was known to own three 1903 Model A's.
Eldon passed away Nov.30, 2002. His widow, Bernice is preparing to sell his collection this summer. Eldon was well known for being a "Ford" collector. He was a tool & die machinist and built parts that were obsolete. He strictly adhered to restoring cars to their original conditon as much as possible.
