My 1926 tudor is sold. I am left with many spare parts. Hoping to sell to those who need them but I don't have experience shipping larger items and am not anxious to learn.I am in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Mostly running gear parts. Many smalls (grease fittings, bushings, special bolts and nuts, etc, etc). No sheet metal or top bows. What do you need? Basement full

Iím looking for a front motor mount with good threads. It fits over the front cross member and also holds the springs in place. Let me know if you have one and if you do, we can discuss price.

I can help you out if you can't locate one, Ron. I'm away from the shop for a few days but can send you a photo & price upon my return.

The '26 - '27 mount has the small threaded boss to assist in retaining the lower valance.

Thanks Steve,

Iíll wait for a response from Steve, then contact you. Double checked my part and it has the boss as you described so weíre on the same page of the book. Donít need the part in a big hurry.

Ron

Ron, I had two and sold one. Will have to look tomorrow and see if the one I have left has the hole but if not I think it has the boss cast for it and could be drilled/tapped.
Except for the axle tool I am pretty much selling the parts to help out fellow Model T enthusiasts so I am accepting any reasonable offers. (Adding pix of what I think is TT front mount if anybody needs one)

TT front motor mount ?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Keith Gumbinger, Kenosha, WI on Saturday, April 12, 2014 - 09:30 pm:

Benny - Yes, the heavier one is for TT's. It also has longer threaded parts because the TT's had one more leaf in the front springs. If you look closely you'll find that it has part number TT320 on it too.

Keith

Benny, that motor mount is a period correct after market mount. It was for both T's and TT's I think. JMHO. Dave

Sorry. My health took a turn for the worse but I am better now. The last week I have actually felt well enough to work on getting my antique Harley-Davidsons ready for riding season. Will try and get back down in the dungeon (basement) to the T parts soon. Benny.
