needing tapered rear spring top leaf. Non-tapered are not dimensionally similar. If not a used spring leaf, then who makes the repro version of these please?

Scott: Be careful. Even if you find an original, you may have to find someone to re-arch it for you. I've found over the years, with both taper, and non taper springs, especially the rears, they are hard to mate up. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Thanks Larry:
Re-arching is no problem...got a truck repairs place here in Cinti that does that work. This is not a rare part, but is proving to be a PITA to locate. I'm sure someone here has one or knows of the whereabouts of one.
Regards,
Scott

If you don't find a used one at Model T haven or one of the other usual sources, maybe a new one here: http://t-springs.com/.

Many thanks Steve:
I contacted this gentleman, and will hear shortly whether this part can be made cost effectively. Wanted to also note that where well meaning some have suggested grinding down a later style leaf to use here, I was told by the knowledgeable supplier mentioned here, that this is not advised. Original tapered leaves are rolled to form, where a ground leaf will have been significantly weakened.
Regards,
Scott
