I'm thinking of bying or building a speedster. What do you do with them when you are done?
Drive the hell out of 'em!
Enjoy it. There are several speedster runs throughout the country and are a lot of fun. I tour with mine and use it as a grocery getter.
I don't know where you are located but most T clubs I've seen welcome speedsters in their club activities. If you are real fortunate, there may be other speedster folks near you who gather for speedster focused events. In the Northwest, we have groups that tour as well as scheduled "endurance" runs that are essentially road rallies (but not "speed" events). Hill climbs are also popular in some parts of the country.
I use mine with local T club and speedster group events as well as simple drives by myself or with friends. My speedster has the advantage over a stock T in that I can travel with modern traffic fairly comfortably. Sufficient power, handling, and braking to not get too stressed by other cars. I need to be a bit more careful in my route planning for my stock T.
OK, all of that was really just a long way to say what Bob did - Drive the hell out of 'em.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. http://www.nwvs.org/CarPhotos/033/033.shtml
Send me your email address and I will forward a copy of the newsletter I am putting together about our Speedster Run that was the last week in April. We are the Sun Country Model T Club (SCMTC)in Phoenix, Arizona.
Enjoy the highway like you can better than with any other car ever made!
I prefer open wheel myself!
Drive carefully, and ENJOY! W2
