By Martynn Vowell, Sylmar, CA on Monday, December 31, 2018 - 05:42 pm:I thought I'd post a picture of my car here, dressed for the season, but then I got some holiday employment peddling posies at Burbank's Costco for a few days. When I got home I was too pooped to do much other than choke some dinner down and pretty much fall asleep on the couch (it's hard work schlepping continuous buckets of water out to drain them, then stowing the racks outside, hitting the cooler for more flowers and arrangements and trotting them back out to the display, fielding customers questions and in general making sure everything on the display looked full and inviting for folks to come and buy something.
Anyhoo, I was going to post this picture as a "Front End Friday" pic, but, well, it's not Friday anymore, soooo, Happy (very, very belated) Front End Friday.

I was blessed to be able to put in about 4 hours on the T today. Did some more tack rail fabrication and pulled apart two complete rear leaf spring stacks and started cleaning them up to pick the best springs to make one set.

Twill be quiet with my Bride in Minneapolis tending to her daughter, (surgery this AM), while here at home is in the middle of more than 5" of white stuff landscape re-decoration. I'm sure the INVINCIBLE IDIOTS will still be out there!
Have a good excuse, anyway: My 'flip-phone' has gone ka-put, so I'll hafta try gettin familiar with some new fan-dangled technology. Have time tonight to read, just wonder 'what?' all those acronyms mean that I'm trying to understand... (Words of wisdom.... "Listen to your kids while they still know everything!") Gess-a shudda dun dat. Figgur it owt!
