Bruce was one of the six founders of the Model T Ford Club of America and was Editor of The Vintage Ford, the club's magazine, for the first twenty-five years. He was co-author (with Ray Miller) of From Here to Obscurity the first definitive book on the Model T. That book was composed of edited versions of articles that had appeared in the club's magazine. He later wrote The Model T Encyclopedia which contained much information that was unknown when "Obscurity" was written. Model T Ford, The Car that Changed the World is a revised and updated version the two previous books.
