Here's a handy little unit that mounts on the firewall to test your plugs and wiring. A local club member was reproducing a similar unit a while back less the mounting clip.

I bought a similiar device in Napa. They are especially useful if you have timer, coils or coil box problems. I have been thinking about getting one for each car.

By the way the Napa tool can be used in the middle of the spark plug wires so if you have boots on the top of your spark plugs you don.t have to take the boots off to see if you are getting fire.

The mounting clip in your picture really looks good also. That way you would not have to be looking through all the stuff in the running board tool box.
