The 25 is different from the 26/27.

DaGunny used a photo journal as he restored his 25 Coupe...the visor is the same as Fordor.

He hasn't chimed in lately, and hope he won't mind me sharing his link for the visor.

I thought the '26 Fordor used the '25 body? Could very well be mistaken though. adave

If I recall right, seems like my extra one is too narrow for my '26. I also have an aftermarket visor that is adjustable.

The tubs, while looking the same are actually not. There is the cowl change and the windshield frame for sure...and if memory serves me correctly, not all of the streamlining came out of changing the suspension. Needs someone else, but memory tells me that about 1/3 of that 'drop' came out of the body tub.

As far as the visors, it is easy to tell the difference once you know.

The 25 and before is totally flat side to side and supported againt the pillars by strap outriggers. From front to back, it is two planes...flat. The ends are open.

The 26/27 visor is actually more curved front to back, and the ends are enclosed in an integral side 'eyebrow' and no outriggers are used.

The 25 and before style is shown at the link above. Here is the 26/27 style...

When rebuilding the sunvisor for my 24 Coupe I ordered a kit from one of the suppliers. The visor cover was way off in size. After calling the vendor and the other vendors that supply them I found out they all came from the same source.
I returned it and had the cover custom made by Classtique. They have the correct measurements to make a cover for the 24-25 closed cars. Maybe the vendors have finally got the size correct. The Classtique address is on the Fordbarn website which is now under reconstruction.
Hope this helps as I was amazed how much the vendor covers were the wrong size. I have the original visor and cover so I had the correct measurments for the cover.
