Our '14 hasn't been out of the garage since last Fall so my wife and I decided to give it a run and drive north into California from Reno, a 70-something mile jaunt. Along the way, we were presented with a variety of Burma Shave-like signs attesting to a water war in the area.
"Whisky 4 drinkin, water 4 fightin!"
A few miles inside the border, we stopped to allow our Scottie to mark and claim that part of California.
On our return a few miles back, we saw a really old guy waving his arms like his house was on fire! We stopped and backed up, and he came out to tell us that he had some "T junk" that he'd like to give away - would I be interested? Of course!
Enduring a greeting from six dogs of all sizes, I found boxes of NOS parts, an assortment of timers (including old New Day Timers), Ford tools, Holley carburetors, Ford coils, hub caps, including a coil tester from Jefferson Electric identical one this one:
The “back story” is that this fellow used be quite active in with his several Model-T’s in southern California, dropped out of the hobby in the mid-70’s, and had been carting this stuff around since. He was about as happy to see it go – as I was to receive it!
Jeesh – I had told my wife the other day that I was going to get rid of all of the extra Model-T junk I’ve been storing. Now what?
Post the unwanted items on the classifieds.

I am in Grass Valley, CA. Not far from Reno. Still stupid and always looking for junk.
