The can was in the factory tool kit, but all of the holders are aftermarket items, so a "Genuine" one is unavailable... a "period" one is what you need.

Thanks for your help everyone , but have checked ebay and made several trans atlantic calls but had no luck , maybee they are getting scarce or I am lookink for one at the wrong time.
I will just have to be patient and keep looking.

Another thought is to place an ad on a Studebaker forum - there was a factory installed can holder on a 1924 Special 6 I had at one time that fits a Ford can. I'm pretty sure all of the mid 20's Studebaker's had them.
