I have a 27 T Coupe that rides like a baby buggy. Is there anyone who knows if you can put shocks on the rear to help? Can I use regular shocks or is there an after market item that would work? Any suggestions appreciated!...:-)

Hi Lynn, the period correct item is called a Hassler. It looks like a little coil spring that mounts to the suspencion. I don't use them myself. Also, all of the Ts ride like buggies.

Lynn, My 27 coupe doesn't ride like a baby buggy, but more like a Lincoln TownCar. If it rides too soft, try adding one leaf to the springs like the pickups and hacks had. Maybe sedans had more leaves too.

Lynn, Nice looking Coupe. If you go with Hasslers, I believe you will need the pancake style, which are around but not too common and can cost some money. Count the number of leaves you have in your rear spring. You should have 9 in the rear, but could add another if needed. Maybe they are compressed too far and need to be rearched?
