I see ads for period correct shop coats. In the ads they state that one use could be to wear it on tour. Does anyone use that kind of coat to wear on tour and perhaps put club patches, ford patches, etc. on them?
Let see some pics.
What do you wear on tour?
I have one and think it's great. I don't have a photo, though. Two things I think are great about mine. When you button it up all the snaps are covered with fabric so there's no scratching of paint with your belt buckle if you're leaning over the fender to look at the engine. Next, where the pockets would be are just slits so when it's buttoned up you can still reach into your jeans front pockets. I got it cause it looks cool, but I've found it to be very functional. Of course, because I put it on to protect the paint when I work on the engine, my has gotten a little grease on it here and there. I need a second one for "nice"
Here are a couple of pictures of mine.
