I just found this photo on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Antique-Auto-photograph-ca-early-1900s-/180524629480?cmd=Vie wItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a081b3de8
It reminded me of pictures of the 1909 coupes.
Anyone know what it might be?
Could a company made bodies like this for Ford and other makes alike?
Thanks Herb
That is not a T, it appears to be an earlier Ford. Note the odd hood, open rear end etc.
Might be Jim but it looks like an '04 Cadillac to me.
IIRC, 1906 was the first for a Cad Coupe.
Here's Randy Ema's original '07 to compare:
The cab on Randy's looks taller.
Notice how there seems to be a licence plate over top of a plate.Interesting Car!

c.r.wilson body company was building bodies for ford and cadillac at the same time (1903). they were just a couple of blocks from the ford company, in detroit.
it's a 1 cyl cad..04-08....the photo looks distorted and taken much later..the wheels look cut down as my 08 had wood felloe 30X3 1/2 all around but that and the top height i think are in the photo...the car was a rare survivor even when this shot was taken.....not too many coupes were made when new...i think mr. lealand's "osceola" still exists...[i think that' the spelling]
hi tim!
hi dave, whatcha making room for there? i still have your frame, safe and sound.
