I am looking to find repair instructions or an exploded parts view of the Worm Gear rear axle that is used in the TT trucks, I have a AA truck with this axel which was a carry over to the AAs 28-29.
I have an unused copy of the Front and Rear axel repair book by Glen Chaffin if someone could use it, make an offer.
Thanks, Brian T.

I can't believe nobody has replied yet!
I figured that Adrian would be all over this.
At least its back to the top now.
I have seen a diagram once but dont know where.Until lately aint been much out there on TT rear axles. You have bigger backing plates and brake shoes on your AA but the inards are suppose to be the same.I had a 28 AA rearend and gave it to a fellow in Virgina a few years ago because he had just bought a AA tanker truck from a fellow down the road and needed a rearend for it.
Here are two pictures from Victor Wilfred Pagé's "Models T and A FORD cars; including Fordson farm tractor"; 9th ed., 1928; figures

Brian,
These are probably better resolution than the one I emailed to you. It's all there and, as I said, there are no "adjustments" to the thing. It just bolts together. As long as the parts are in pretty good shape, you should end up with a pretty good rear end.
google AA Ford truck club and go to their site. You should get lots of help there.
Mike
I'm glad to see those drawings; thanks for posting them. The timing is perfect, since I'm just fixin' to tear into one of those for the first time. Now I'll have some idea what I'm looking at.
Mike Russell-sorry about your mother-in-law
Hi Brian - have a look at this forum thread for a discussion (especially helpful if you have a Ruckstell):
http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/118802/141433.html
If you are going to pull the diff apart, please do buy the MTFA Ruckstell book - and follow the sections (whole chapter on TT diff) word by word - it is a great help.
All the best

Thanks to all that replied here, it was one of our members in the AA truck club that was needing the help, although I have no problems with my rear axle and hope not to do so, its always best to be ahead of the game.
Thank you again , Brian.
