Anyone know the O.D. of the driveshaft where the inner clutch drum presses on?

I've been looking for exact measurements and can't find any. My drum fits really loose.

I miked a shaft and it mikes 1.000 in the area where the clutch drum fits and .999 where the bearings ride which I suspect is worn down That should be a good press fit or the little set screw will have to take all the load

You didnt ask how to fix it but Ill tell you how I fixed mine a few years ago I used Loctites quick metal No 660 used for press fit repair, repairs worn shafts and housings Comes in a tube JB weld might work too

I was going to attempt to weld several spots around the shaft to try and beef it up. I may still try that then add this locktite.

How loose was yours? Mine slides right on and will wiggle a little.

Your clutch drum is also worn. You should replace it also.

Even at .996" I.D.???
