Looks pretty nice except someone mounted the horn upside down. Congratulations, there are not many 1913's around!

LHD, must be American. A pretty swell old chariot.

Thomas,

Great looking car and looks like it is ready to drive and enjoy.

Do you have any history on the car? With the left hand door stamped into the panel I would assume it is a USA produced body and most likely car? If it is a USA produced body, you may be able to locate the body number and body maker letter by raising the front seat cushion and looking on the wood in front of the gas tank. See: “Home for the Holidays” at: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/29/40322.html) that discusses where to look. Disregard the later information -- and focus on the wooden seat frame cars.

Again, congratulations on your "New" T!

Respectfully submitted,

Looks like an early one too with that speedometer and carburetor adjusting rod. I agree with Royce, on your horn. I would also consider changing the rear window to the stock patten. Let us know what the body number is, located under the front seat. The serial number, and the engine number would be nice too.

Thomas -- That is a beautiful Model T all right. Congratulations on your new acquisition. I don't mean to be too picky, but the front tires look too fat to me for an early T. Maybe the non-US cars were different?

By the way, I think the pic taken from the rear showing the "spindly" rear end is really cute. And it looks as if someone did a great job of integrating lights into the rear fenders.

Mike, someone once posted on this forum something like, "I could probably like Model A's, but their tires are too fat." I use it on my Model A friends... :-)
