There is probably a thread about this subject of dyna beads in the T tube to balance the wheel.
After suffering a second tube failure, well, the tire WAS only flat on one side, I am investing in a new 21" tube and tire.
And this one was only about four years old.
But, I did wonder about others who have used these balancers and wondered about your experiences and if the tube did ok.
Come to think of it, my tire didn't have any beads and didn't do too well.
Thanks for any help.

I've been running the beads fast in clinchers for a few years, and got one slow leaker last winter - from a tiny nail. I lost hardly any beads doing the tube repair. The tire even got down to 20 psi a couple of times, and that was on a front wheel with front wheel brakes. No, it did not slip or come off the rim, and I don't drive gingerly.

So far no problems here. The ads say they are safe for inner tubes.

Thanks for the help.
Sam has been getting close to 50 at some points, but I stop because at about 47 mph I notice the wheels are out of round.

The gps sometimes shows 70 and the beads have worked fine for a little over five years. They only move and roll around at slow speeds and are so tiny that they have no appreciable weight for scuffing at all.
