By K. Carlock on Thursday, August 26, 2010 - 10:14 pm:I was at Bonneville speed week last week, saw the Matrix Machine streamliner go 201.7 MPH with a model T block based engine. Single turbo. This is a new class record. I have no ties to these folks just thought someone may be interested, nice piece of work.

Joel has updated the car with a new multi-speed gearbox, 4 or 5 speed, not sure which one he used. He took several runs, a little sensor problem on his first attempt and then one run at 205 followed by a second at 199.
Not bad for a 1927 Ford Model T block....
I think the record is the fastest speed attained by a four cylinder flat head at Bonneville.
