Reading from further down the forum on E-brake and axle seals. If inner seals are replaced with neopreen seals, isnt the grease to lube the outer bearings cut off from getting to the bearings?
Dennis, the outer bearings are lubed with the grease cups on the axle housings. Dave
Dennis, Adding an inner seal makes the bearing a sealed bearing. The grease is trapped in the bearing and oil from the differential cannot dilute the grease causing outer seal leaks.
