Can anyone provide me with a picture and a description of the way the 1926 steering column connects at the firewall? I am unclear as to how the detachable bracket goes on the firewall and how the column attaches to the bracket. Thank you. Jim Patrick

Here is a picture. It's a little hard to see, but the bracket goes on the engine side of the firewall. The flange of the steering column goes on the passenger side with the two top bolts through the firewall, and the bracket goes below the steering column on the engine side of the firewall with two bolts to the firewall and two through the steering column.

Thanks Norm. That's what I needed to know. Whether the steering column flange goes on the inside or the outside. I now know it goes on the inside. Thanks again. Jim Patrick
