This is as far as the customer wanted me to go .
I really would have liked to finish or keep this
one .
Pretty! The wheel is offset, how wide is the seat? Does the driver have to scootch over to the left?
that is way cool. I can't wait to drive it.
I want one................
Very nice. Hope to see photos when it's finished.

Chris the seat is the width of the frame , driver sits in the middle and the wheel is offset .
Here is a close up of the steering gearbox and the column I made . }}
Wow Tom!
That really is an inspiration. The frame sills alone are just awesome workmanship. As you know, I'm still tromping through my first attempt at one of your original Faultless 2-man cab designs. I'm slowly getting there and I should be posting new pictures of the skinned body soon. I'm fascinated by the steering box and column set up. Love the Fiat style radiator shell also...Fantastic work! Jimmy
The radiator shell is a Fronty copy .
Chris
When you questioned the wheel offset I thought that you were talking about tires as in the following pictures not stearing wheel! LOL
Tom, I really like the circular openings for the radius rods. It looks so much cleaner than the usual oversize notches cut out in the frame covers on most Speedster/race cars. Wonderful work! Jimmy
What is the scoop for on the left side?
The scoop is there caused I thought it looked kool . It will be cut out and a trim ring on inside traping a wire screen .
For cockpit cooling?
Tom, That is just really nice. I don't know what else to say.
Thanks Scott , I am starting another one man car for a friend of mine . I can take step by step photos as I go and post them here .
The side scoop will cool the cockpit some , but I just liked the way it looks . Another car Im doing has one just like it on the hood over the carb .
