I want to dress up my girl 'T' with christmas tree lights, battery operated, but don't know how to 'stick' them on so they will stay. Anybody have any suggestions? This is for a parade Dec 6. I realize I'm a little ahead of myself....but.

Sue, I bought battery operated lights at Michaels or some craft store last year. They were expensive including batteries, but that wasn't the problem. Store bought lights just were not bright enough. I had to buy more for them to shine. That doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Please do. They look good anyway. I wrapped mine around the wreath on the back of the T. Many lights made them light up nicely. Please post pictures after the parade.

Susan,
I use a voltage converter to take 12v to 120v and use standard lights. We also use black electrical tape to secure the lights, removes easily.

Thanks. Does the black electric tape leave a residue? I was thinking that this is a black car so I wanted it to look like an outline of a car coming down the street. Think it should look good. This will be my first parade. I think I got it handled. I have a support crew. If I get stalled they will push me out of the way. But I'm crossing my fingers.

I didn't have hardly any residue left, if any, just found a piece I missed this past Sat and it came right off. You will do just fine......

You can use a cloth liberally sprayed with WD-40 to wipe off any tape residue.

Eucalyptus oil may also be good for removing black tape residue
