This Fire truck was bought new by this Southern Indiana town. They restored it a few years ago. Amazing how nice the metal parts are in. It's never sat outside. They said it's a '26. Has 25 front fenders and hood 26/27 hogs head. I assume it was titled in 26.
Love the photos Kenny! This is nice. I guess its a TT? Love the wheels!
Kenny-
Looks like a Howe rig. They often used that cowl and the squirrel tail suction pipe around the front of the radiator. The 1926 and 1927 TT trucks used the fenders, hoods, etc of the 1925 style, so I would not doubt it to be a 1926.
Nice looking rig.

It is a TT and I had forgotten about the use 25 style fenders and such on the later TT's. There was a 2 speed trans and power take off unit mounted to the back of the transmission. The PTO drove a large chain to the pump. I was suprised to see the fuel tank mounted up so high at the rear of the truck.
