So I'm thinning out my collection a bit and have three carburators that came with the Rajo Overhead Valve System. I clearly don't need all three and one is a Stromberg OF, that I understand is a good carb. The other two I know nothing about and was wondering if anyone had any opinions of them. One is a Stromberg M1 updraft, which I think may be a tractor carb, but I'm kind of sketchy on that and the other is a Rayfield M2 sidedraft which I think came off an early Auburn, but I'm not sure. Are these worth hanging on to for T applications?

The M-1 is a very good carb. It is larger than the OF, so more power at high load/rpm. It lacks accelerator enrichment, so they recommend it for steady rpm loads like tractors. The L and O series have accel enrichment. I never noticed it to be a drawback in the MB-1 on the Fronty, however. The B is for sidedraft.
