Dont know if the humble little FORD has enough breathe to toot this whistle, but it would sure look great all polished up on your running board!
Well the little Ford couldn't handle that style.......but the older big sister Model K Touring had 6 cylinders to sound off
Now thatís my prefered method of patent search <@^@>
William S. Glines
Signaling Apparatus for Motor-Vehicles
Patent number: 783748
Filing date: Mar 08, 1904
Issue date: Feb 28, 1905
Or so I thought . . .
But the patent they are apparently fudging
a little on is kind of interesting in its own right!
That would be fun to hook up to a hidden tank of compressed air!
Ed, I would think a 1 x 1 x 2 foot tank of compressed air in my truck bed at 140 pounds pressure would sound like the Kansas Topeka passing through a crossing!!
I have a set of Nathan P5's similar to these,
that will make a believer out of you <g>.
Awesome set of horns Art! So whats the kill radius! :-)
