Not my 'Cup of T" by any means but I can certainly appreciate the American woodworking skills some still have today. Check out those headlamps!

You put work into it and maybe have fun doing it then one day it's in the way and goes for a loss if it goes at all. I'll bet the wood alone cost more than the opening bid.
Great wood working but an expensive pile of fire wood.
It's a T alright. Right down to the way the hood fits.
That's the problem with a project like that, all that work and skill and it's just a novelty item of questionable monetary value. But again who ever made it probably had a ball and never made it with a profit in mind. Jimmy
So I guess you can call it a "Green" automobile.
What is "T" about it?
Not my "Cup of T" either, in fact, the hood looks like a roll top desk, but then the laminated fenders are an absolute work of art! This whole project had to be just for the love of woodworking, not any way connected with OUR disease! (Model-T-itus)
That car is ugly Id use it to heat my house thats about it. I cant believe somebody bid that high on it. Thanks James
No Jay that is an anti-green automobile. Look at all the trees that gave their life for it. Then all the varnish fumes produced, not to mention the electcity for all the power tools that had to have been used. Then then scape wood, varnish, brush cleaner soaked rags and sawdust that all went to the landfill.
