Been thinking about a 3 seat huckster body for a 1926 chassis. Was wondering how long the body should be to be to have a nice look to it and not be too cramped. Some 3 seat huckster bodies just don't seem to look right to me. Does anybody have a picture of a nice looking huckster and could possibly give me the dimension from the back of the frame to the back of the second seat and also the dimension from the back of the frame to the back of the 3rd seat? One more dimentions that would help would be how long the seat (front to back) is. Thanks.
Ben:
I bought and installed a Depot Hack from
PLEASANTVILLE MANUFACTURING CO.
DEWITTVILLE, NEW YORK, and as you know the depot hack is similar to the Huckster. The depot Hack can be made to order and have three seats with the middle seat splt. or get it with extra doors. Look them up on the internet. And if you do let tehem know I sent you

Ben,
I always wanted one, but never liked the looks and proportions of any that I found...they looked too long, or looked too tall and then finally I found one that little Goldilocks was 'just right' --for me.
You'd be hard pressed to squeeze 3 seats in this one, but I added some dimensions just so you could see. You'd need probably at least 110-112 to have ample room to handle a full 3 deep.
For me, the back seat comes out, and it has a full tailgate and I can use it as a carry-all when I have to.
This is a real unmodified #131 1919 Mifflinberg Country Club or Suburban Body.
The body dimensions are on the Mifflinberg advertisement.
PS - The back seats are OK with small people - otherwise if acts a bit like a boat trying to get on a plane..
