A large number of local Model T folks attended the 2011 Seal Beach car show today. Among them, Racer Ralph Ricks, Fast Frank Harris, Humble Howard Genrich and me, Speedy Bill Harris. Unfortunately, I had the only Model T in the show. The others were spectators. Fun was had by all. My '13 Speedster was a big hit with the crowd and the oldest car there.

I hope you were quick to remind all those Pantera owners they're looking at the original Ford Powered sports car.
You shoulda' had a sign on it, Bill. Every time I went by, you weren't there, and the questions were numerous.
Sure was tempting to swap a couple of sparkplug wires. Do you crank with your right (left) or wrong hand?
Did you all spend your day at Ruby's on the pier? I was busy most of the day herding the wireless sound system.
Next year they hope to feature some guy who we see at the HME.

Bill!!
Glad to SEE your on here and a member!
I'm one of your Speedway dealers here from Branson, Mo.
Someday I have got to make the trip up to your place and see your museum!
Joe -- The "Speedy Bill" that you are referring to is Speedway Motors owner Speedy Bill Smith, not Bill Harris.
Bill H. -- You can't be "Speedy Bill"; obviously that moniker is already taken.
Mike & Joseph: Sorry about the "Speedy" confusion. I checked the Thesaurus and have come up with an option:
"Breakneck Bill"
Since I also ride motorcycles and drive a Pantera, I think it fits. Any objections?
Let's just hope Breakneck is not propehtic, Bill.
You could do:
Hotel Bill
Medical Bill
Repair Bill
Utility Bill
or,
Duck Bill
Or, for the finance crowd:
T-Bill
That would make you sound rich, huh?

By the way, I was only using the name "Speedy Bill" because Fred Houston called me that

Bill -- No objection here. But I'd advise against using "Three Dollar Bill".
"Breakneck Bill" it is then!

I'd better not get a speedster. I'd have to be Gil-T, and that wouldn't sound good at all.

Gil: I like how you think
A long time ago, a very good friend made a set of coveralls up for me with "WILD WAYNE"S FAST FORD SPECIAL" on the back. I haven't worn them in years. The fibers have become too weak and they rip easily.
I need new ones, maybe I should resurrect the design?
Drive safe, W2
Here's a quick Youtube video slideshow of the show. There's a shot at the end of me driving the T

I designed a logo to sew on the racing jackets for Mary and I to wear when we are out for a ride in our number 22 Speedster. The four words are Franks Antique Racing Team. I found out that there are too many letters going across the back and so decided to only use the starting letters of the for words but Mary will not wear her jacket.
Gilbert, You could use the name "Gil-T" if you belonged to a 12 step program for those that are addicted to Model T's!
Hey!!
I have 12 T's does that mean I'm in the 12 step program and an addict??
Gil-T,
3 dollar Bill
Now I got to think of a name for me!!!
Kind of hard to do as I only have 2 cents.
(Not enough cents here)
Unfortunately, Michael, I mix my drinks. I have only one T and 4 Brand Xs.
Frank, there's an invitational group of guys with large brass-era cars who do point-to-point (as opposed to hub) tours. People have to be good enough mechanics to keep themselves going no matter what, which is probably why no invitation has ever come my way. The group is called Friends of Ancient Road Transportation, and has a radiator emblem to match.

Frank - Fart is the danish word for speed.
Yes, and they wish you a goodt fahrt when you start out. That is why I selected that particular double entendre ;~)
