I have no connections with the below listed sales. Out of habit of checking the antique section of craigslist I ran across these ads. Sure is a clean looking T.
Model T - (Eastern Montana)

Another piece of history for sale.
Traction Engine - (Eastern Montana)

I have never used Craigslist. How does one know how much he's asking for the car? Does he take bids or is it a fixed price? I am not asking because I want to buy, but just out of curiosity how this new-fangled system works?
Norm
AFAIK he wants $10,000 for it.
He's going to want big dollars for that traction engine.......
When they don't put the price in he ad, that means it's high.
I would say craigslist works like the classified section in a local newspaper as I know it. I would assume that you would have to contact the seller to find out the asking price (in this case Mr. Howe knows a bit about the T and posted the asking price), condition,etc... if they don't include the information in the ad itself.
I often just brouse in the "Montana" craigslist section being from Montana with the thought that if I were to ever find something of interest I could go check it out in person although one could check ads listed pretty much anywhere if they so choose.
I normally don't post on here but enjoy lurking if you will and when I seen the ad I thought it was worth posting just by chance someone a little closer to it might be interested.

Bought my second T through craigs list. Was near to home (12 miles) so no viewing problems.
