Today my wife and I were in Redwood City California and I had a few hours to kill, so I walked the dog and carried with me a copy of Vintage Ford hoping to find a park to get a chance to relax and read. Redwood City has a lot of very small garages on small lot next to residential. As I walked, I thought about how in times ago these garages would be working on old Model T’s. Then suddenly, I saw a garage with a Model T in it! Actually multiple T’s and A's, speedsters etc! The name of the garage is Oil Can Alley. Rod and Mark opened this garage in the last few months and were very friendly along with Mark’s dog Soda (I think that was the name) who got along with my dog very well. They seem like great guys and loved to talk and share what they are up to. They were working on the front end of a 1925 Coup for a guy that is 96 years old and has three T’s that he drives regularly!

Oh what fun! Just a random meeting with people I don’t know. I have (or should I say HAD) no connection with them prior to my serendipity visit, but would advise you visit there shop. You can find more about their shop here: www.oilcanalley.com.
