I have read some of the old posts on the brake equalizer, from Synders. Is the one from Langs the same? When I called Langs they did not think it needed any welding to install but said I should call back and speak with a tech person, which I will do but thought I would ask here. Has anyone used their version?? I have the large drum rear.

Martin,
I have the same version equalizer, it's made by John Stoltz of Model T Ranch I believe. It does require the brake arm to be welded under the brake pedal. I had it welded for $15 by a local welder and I was able to pick it up in a couple of hours.
I have found the equalizer to work as expected. It requires some adjustment to get it working smoothly, but it does work.

John

Martin: I have the equalizer and Rocky Moutain brakes on both of my T's. With the Ruckstell it is without saying necessary, no exception. The Rockys could save your life.
