Are any of you guys planning to attend the show and tours at the Mystic Seaport in Connecticut this September. I have never done it and my buddy and l are considering it. It is limited to 130 pre-1930 vehicles. Any comments from past years?

I have been there a number of times. It's one of the best shows/tours there is. I will be there again this year. Many brass cars.

Dave, My wife and I found the show a few years ago,it usually falls on our aniversary weekend
If you want to see vintage cars and trucks its the place to go. This year our '26 coupe has been accepted as a participant. Hope you'll stop by and say HELLO.
Don't wait 'til the last moment to book a room, the local motels fillup early. there are some very nice bed & breakfasts in the area
By the way the seaport is a good take on ots own!

Dave Mystic has the standard faire of chain motels
I recall staying in a Ramada, Holiday Inn and I think the other was a Quality Ct.All are far better than the back of a P/U but we're not fussy. There are lots of VERY nice B&Bs in the area, some are rather pricy. Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun are both w/in a 1/2hr.
As a side note I'll probably be driving the T down from just south of Boston, about 100 mi. should be an interesting trip thru the back roads of R.I.

l would love to drive there too, but bypassing NYC is just too much of a hassle. We're down near Atlantic City, NJ, so its gonna be a 2 trailer caravan. Hope its not too late to get in.
