A friend of mine (not a computer user) is ready to install the top on his 1912 roadster. The top was bought several years ago from Carter's Cut & Cover, now out of business. He is looking for any tips or instructions on the installation. A 2007 thread by Roger B. Barnes Jr. http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/29/27624.html indicates that he has photos but he no longer seems to have a profile. Maybe this is due to the recent server problem. Anyway, does anyone have contact info for this gentleman? Any other help will be appreciated as well.

I had a Carter kit for my 1915 tourer, and, while the quality was excellent, I had it fitted by a pro. There were nips and tucks and stitching to make it a top job, and his experience ironed out all these. There is nothing worse than a poor fitting, slack top to detract from an otherwise excellent restoration. I believe the dollars spent were good value.

Having said this, my wife and I did an entirely satisfactory job installing the Carter upholstery kit. There is much more room for juggling and trimming with the seats than there is with the top.
